Welcome to Avon Bowling Club, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire ~ est. 1924


With over 100 years of heritage, Avon Bowling Club has, without a doubt, one of the loveliest setting for a bowls green anywhere in the county. Situated as it is on the banks of the river Avon, close to the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, and within view of Holy Trinity Church where William Shakespeare was baptised, where he worshipped and where he is buried.

This fun, friendly Club has something for everyone. There is a rich mix of competitive bowling, friendly fixtures and its own community bowls and coaching programme.

Social members are also welcome to join the Club, and to take part in the many and varied events that are held throughout the season.
