Welcome Back everyone!
What a glorious start to the 2026 Season. Against a backdrop of glorious blue sky, the club flag was hoisted and the inaugural Spring Gala matches were played in the sunshine.
It all bodes well for the season ahead.
Ahead of the Gala, Club Chairman and Captain, Jon Dixon addressed the Spring Meeting outlining his 2026 Club objectives;
- to ensure we are financially viable
- to provide an environment where members can enjoy their bowling at a level, they are comfortable with but have the opportunity to develop further
- to enjoy ourselves
All returning members are encouraged to;
- keep their availability up-to-date to help the captains do their jobs efficiently
- raise any issues, at any time, with their respective captain, safeguarding officer or committee member
- participate/support club events and social activities
As a Club we have experienced a significant number of changes during the past two seasons, but we believe it is time to put a stake in the ground and with everyone's support start to rebuild.
So, let's look forward to the busy playing schedule ahead of us, whether it be in friendlies, league matches, competitions, triples or rinks always remember working together as a team, talking to each other, and supporting each other will give us a great platform to work from.
We will celebrate our wins and learn from our losses, but above all we will enjoy our bowling.
