Bush Trophy: Avon Gents 48 - 67 Stratford BC 

Despite being 7 points down after the first leg back in June, Avon Gents were confident going into the second leg of the Bush Trophy on Friday 8th August at Stratford BC.

Unfortunately, on the night, against a very strong Stratford team, Avon Gents were unable to continue their good form and only managed to win on one rink - Well done Mark's team.

It was a great afternoons bowling, played in a friendly but competitive manor.

The Bush Trophy is unique to our two clubs and the comradeship with our fellow Stratfordians is always recognised

Avon, as ever magnanimous in defeat, must on this occasion congratulate the opposition, and try to win it back next year.
