Match Report - 27 Aug 2025, Avon Bowling Club (est 1924) Pickering Triples 2 lost to RLS 3
RLS 3 turned up one player short but our generosity meant that we called up our lady reserve (thank you Maggie) and Kevin played for the opposition (thank you Kevin). It was a close match where captain for the day Andy Spink led his team of Dave Waite and Colin Jarvis to victory 16 - 11, Ken, Maggie and Mark Sayers forced a 16 - 16 draw on the last end and only the Neal, Colin Roberts and Keith Howe trio suffered a defeat. One more game to go and although we have secured our position in the table there’s still a lot to play for.
