A little more frustrating this week for the Pickering 2 boys, the first match where we didn’t do as well as we did in the equivalent match in the first half of the season. A very strong Bedford trio meant not much chance for team Spink, Jarvis and Yates. Leading 9-7 at the half way drinks break Hounsell, Pickering and Waite couldn’t hold on and another great comeback, this time from Killer Ken Basnett, Rod Innes and Keith Howe was thwarted by the last bowl on the last rink that resulted in a one shot defeat.
