A very tight tense game which saw Avon 1 just miss out on promotion to Division 1.
> Needing to win on 2 rinks & draw the other saw us well in charge on one rink, in front on another & well behind on the 3rd rink. However, it all changed.

> We won the rink we were in charge of, the rink we were well behind in recovered extremely well and managed to win by 1 point but unfortunately Wellesbourne recovered on the other rink to win by 4 shots leaving us winning overall by 51 to 43 points & gaining 6 points.
> This has left us equal on points with RLS2 but missing out on promotion by shot difference.
> Well done to all Avon 1 players for a great season
