A great evening of triples bowling in the Stratford Herald Evening League by 6 local ladies teams. Representing Avon were Christine Coote, Marilyn Clark and Julia Bloxham. They had a strong start and all played consistently well through the evening ending with a win against Bidford A.
The scoring for the League is worked out on number of winning ends plus an extra 2 for a win or 1 for a draw, therefore the score for the League purposes was 14 (12+2) to Avon and 6 to Avon.
