Match Report - 09 Jul 2025, Avon Bowling Club (est 1924) Ladies lost to Southam CV47 2WF
At last we were able to play the match that had been cancelled for various reasons in the last Season. So today 3 ladies triples travelled to Southam and played a friendly game on what was a blistering hot afternoon. Due to the temperature we cut the play time down to 14 ends instead of the normal 18 ending with refreshing cups of tea to hydrate with more time to chat together with a raffle.
Unfortunately we were not successful in winning and lost on all three rinks to a total deficit of 10, the score being 40 to Southam and 30 to Avon.
