Match Report - 23 Jun 2025, Avon Bowling Club (est 1924) Ladies lost to Stratford BC
On 23 June. with the assistance of a loaned player from Stratford and a gentleman player we played a 4 triples match against Stratford Bowling Club.
The afternoon was sunny and dry when we played a friendly game with the ladies from Stratford Club. Unfortunately we lost on all rinks but the score did not reflect the afternoons performance and all are looking forward to our return game later in the season when we hope to level up the score on our return match. A big Thank You to Dave Waite who stood in at literally a minute before the introductions were done which enabled the game to take place without having to ask a couple of players to play half a game each.
