Match Report - 16 Jun 2025, Avon Bowling Club Ladies lost to Moreton in Marsh GL56 0EF
The away return match with Moreton in the Marsh ladies proved to be a fiercely fought match on a blisteringly hot afternoon with the decision of playing 15 ends rather than the normal 18. Two of the rinks played nip and tuck most of the game and the third rink particularly held the ends to low scoring on both sides. Unfortunately the final score was a loss to us so we ended our two matches of this season with Moreton by winning one a piece.
