Match Report - 20 Jul 2025, Avon Bowling Club (est 1924) Club (Mixed) lost to ISE Bowling Club, Kettering
A great afternoons bowling in mainly sunny conditions! We won 3 rinks, were close in a couple and lost heavily on one rink, where ISE had a couple of ringers, but a good time was had by all. Despite the narrow loss, our overall performance on the green was so much better than the start of the season and I have to put that down to the weekly training sessions lead by Peter, the numerous coaching sessions lead by Anne and Mark and our focus on being competitive match ready. Well done everybody and let's look forward to another good match next week at Entaco.
