Bedford's irrigation system had broken down so the green was extremely fast, something we had trouble getting used to but there were three very good games for the spectator. We were ahead in two for much of the match but in the end only the Pete Johnson, Mick Crutchley and Jon Dixon trio were able to come away with a victory. Bidford kindly opened the bar after the game and we drank most of their Guinness 0.0% and Ginger Beer.
