Match Report - 21 May 2025, Avon Bowling Club Pickering Triples 2 beat WCC Staff
A first win for Pickering 2 this season with all three rinks playing their part. Kevin Hand, Terry Pickering and Colin Roberts won decisively 23 to 9 with some great bowling, Ken Basnett, John Mills and Peter Johnson beat a very good WCC team, holding their nerve when their opponents led after 12 ends and winning the last 6 ends to record a 5 shot victory. Andrew Spink, Paul Smith and Colin Jarvis were never ahead in a very close game but a 3 on the last end gave them a well deserved draw.
